Swingin’ Under the Stars takes place on Saturdays during the summer from 7:30pm-10:00pm. Instructor compensation per date is $37.5/person. Instructors hired are expected to teach a Beginner Lindy Hop lesson 7:30-8:00pm and then a 15-minute lesson during the band break. Accepted instructors will be required to attend a training session unless an exemption is asked for and granted.

Teachers accepted to teach at Little Man Ice Cream will attend a two-hour teacher training workshop with Kenny. Are you comfortable working on yourself, your dance skills and teaching skills in preparation for the teacher training and when you teach? We do accept people newer to dance instruction and often pair them up with experienced instructors. Teacher training is provided so you can arrive to class planning and the event with the tools needed to be prepared.
